Calling all police drama fans! If you’re looking for a gripping new series to fill the gap while you wait for the anticipated seventh season of Line of Duty, the free streaming service U has just the answer.
The upcoming six-part thriller, Hit Point, follows two thirty-something detectives pulled into a particularly dangerous case that blurs the lines between their personal and professional lives.

Saffron Hocking stars as Bella in Hit Point
A tense first look at the drama shows Nick Blood (Day of the Jackal) and BAFTA nominee Saffron Hocking (Top Boy) in their leading roles as detectives Leo and Bella. In one photo, Bella takes cover while holding a gun; the second shows a serious-looking Leo arriving at a crime scene.
Like Line of Duty, Hit Point promises “edge-of-your-seat action” and “high stakes drama,” while viewers can also expect a “sizzling” romance between the two detectives.

Plus, the show is penned by BAFTA-winner Howard Overman (Misfits) and directed by David Caffrey (The Gentlemen, Peaky Blinders), so it’s safe to say that viewers are in for a riveting watch.

Who stars in Hit Point?
Nick Blood and Saffron Hocking lead the cast as Leo and Bella, respectively.
They’re joined by a cast of familiar faces which includes William Abadie (Emily in Paris), Brendan Coyle (Toxic Town), Peter Serafinowicz (The Gentlemen), Nadia Parkes (Kidnapped: The Chloe Ayling Story), Moe Bar-El (Alien: Earth), and Ossian Perret (The Last Kingdom) and Joshua Sher (The Undeclared War).
