Fresh tributes have emerged for actor Patrick Muldoon, with close friends Denise Richards and her daughter Lola Sheen sharing emotional messages about the Days of Our Lives star following his sudden death.
Muldoon, 57, died on April 13, with his family confirming he had been “suddenly taken from this Earth”.
His death was reportedly the result of a heart attack.
While news of his passing prompted an outpouring from fans and former co‑stars, new statements from Richards — who shared a 36‑year friendship with Muldoon — have been posted in recent days.
Richards said she was “deeply heartbroken and devastated”, describing Muldoon as her “best friend” and “family”.

“You lit up every room you walked into… so talented and most underrated,” she wrote.
“Your laugh, your kindness, your wit, your strength, your loyalty, your passion, and your zest for life… I don’t know what I’m going to do without you here.
“Our memories together are endless. You’ve had my back and protected me more than anyone.”
She said the pair had been each other’s “rock” throughout their adult lives.
“You’re my voice of reason and pillar of strength… I love you so much and miss you dearly.”

Richards’ daughter, Lola Sheen, also shared a tribute, calling Muldoon a defining figure of her childhood.
“When I think of my childhood I think of you, Pat,” she wrote. “Life will never feel the same… thank you for showing everyone around you how to be alive.”
She said Muldoon’s bond with her mother was “so special, that no one can touch”.
“You really were a rockstar, Pat, and forever will be.”

Earlier tributes from Muldoon’s Days of Our Lives co‑stars also highlighted his warmth and generosity.
Alison Sweeney said he was “brilliantly talented, endlessly kind, and generous in spirit”, while Lisa Rinna shared a throwback photo with a broken‑heart emoji.
Muldoon appeared in nearly 500 episodes of Days of Our Lives as Austin Reed, earning a Soap Opera Digest Award for Best New Actor. He later starred as Richard Hart on Melrose Place and built a career spanning more than 50 films, including Starship Troopers.
He had recently completed work on Dirty Hands, due for release this month, and had been filming KOCKROACH in Australia alongside Chris Hemsworth and Taron Egerton.
His family said details of a celebration of life would be announced at a later date.
