The Our Yorkshire Farm and Our Farm Next Door star frequently keeps her Instagram followers informed about developments at Ravenseat, which she operates alongside her former partner, Clive, and their nine children. In a recent update, she acknowledged the weather had been rather gloomy, reports the Mirror.
Posting photographs showing her amongst the sheep in the fields with her hair billowing around her face in the wind, Amanda wrote: “Goodness me there’s been some dismal kinda days weatherise (sic).”
“Makes me think that it would be smarter to enjoy the great outdoors from the even greater indoors,” confessed the star, who is known as the Yorkshire Shepherdess.
She also appeared to joke that viewers should retreat indoors to watch her programme, sharing tea cup and television emojis whilst teasing: “Ewe know how to do it.”

It launched in 2018 and chronicled Amanda and Clive alongside their children – Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clementine, and Nancy – as they navigated life at Ravenseat farm in the Upper Swaledale area of the Yorkshire Dales.
Channel 4 later commissioned a new series entitled Our Farm Next Door, which documents the family as they renovate a dilapidated property close to their farm.
Outlining the programme, Amanda recently told her Instagram followers: “Countryside, animals, family, relationships, characters, history… it’s not a soap opera, definitely not Emmerdale, it is not Countryfile, not Grand Designs, it isn’t Victorian farm. It just is not any one thing, not conventional, educational or motivational. You just should watch it and take away from it whatever it is that interests you personally.”
