Congratulations are in order for Kelly McKee Zajfen, who recently welcomed her third child, named Jack, with her husband Julian. Kelly shared the sweet news on 27 March, sharing a photo of the newborn alongside some sweet family bonding moments.

And on Wednesday, the mother-of-three revealed that her close friend, Meghan Markle, had sent her a gorgeous present to mark the occasion. Meghan sent a small bouquet of white roses to Kelly, and Kelly shared a photo of them sitting in a tiny silver vase.

She remarked: “Nothing like fresh cut garden roses next to your bedside @meghan.” The businesswoman finished the post off with an emoji of a heart tied up with a ribbon.

A white rose is a particularly symbolic choice for Meghan to send, with the flowers often representing a ‘new beginning’; they’re normally favoured at weddings.

Prince Harry’s wife recently revealed that she flowers were coming to her As Ever brand, sharing a stunning photo that featured her own daughter, Princess Lilibet. In a post shared last month, Meghan said: “Something is blooming. A new collaboration with @highcampgardenias arrives tomorrow. Sign up for the launch reminder so you don’t miss it.”

In a previous video, Meghan showed the care that goes into her floral arrangements at home, while Harry filmed the process and offered commentary in the background.

Kelly’s family

Kelly and her husband Julian are parents to three children; however, her son Georgie sadly passed away in 2022 after contracting COVID-19 and viral meningitis.

Jack’s middle name is a tribute to her late son, with the duo now sharing the same middle name of Oliver. In the post announcing his arrival, Kelly also revealed that the name Jack was in honour of her own grandfather.

Meghan supported Kelly through the tragic experience, and she previously helped to raise money for children in foster care in honour of George with a tennis tournament that was held last September.

Kelly wrote on Instagram that the “incredible day” was “full of emotions and lots of love”; she explained that the money from the event would “go directly to supporting children in foster care, ensuring they have the legal protections, resources and opportunities they deserve in honour of [their] beautiful son Georgie.”
