The devastated and grieving daughter is urging anybody with information to get in touch with police

A HEARTBROKEN daughter has paid a moving tribute to her mother who was killed in a horrific crash.

Lyn Anthistle, 69, tragically died after being involved in a collision with a lorry on Wednesday this week.

Her daughter, Mary-Anne Allwood, says she and her family are “totally broken” following the tragedy in Brixham, Devon.

She is pleading for anybody with information to help police investigate the circumstances of the crash.

Mary-Anne said: “My mum was such a kind-hearted, down-to-earth woman who would take time and care to listen and help others.

“We, as a family, are totally broken and it still does not feel real that she has been taken in such tragic circumstances.

“We appreciate all the lovely comments from those who knew her and appeal to anyone who may have even the smallest piece of information, even if you think it feels irrelevant, to please contact the police.

“We need to know what happened.”

The terrible incident happened at around 3.40pm on Wednesday, January 21 on Brewery Lane in Brixham.

Cops are continuing to make enquiries to establish the circumstances of the collision.
