Robin of Sherwood

The tale of an outlaw who steals from the rich to give to the poor feels as old as time itself. But ’80s kids will likely best remember the TV adaptation Robin of Sherwood which cast Michael Praed as Robin of Loxley opposite Judi Trott’s Maid Marian.

The BAFTA-winning series by Richard Carpenter follows Robin’s journey once he’s chosen as Herne the Hunter’s successor and is himself later succeeded by nobleman Robert of Huntingdon.
