Brisbane Lions star Lachie Neale has returned to Perth after his estranged wife Jules and two children moved there amid the fallout from their high-profile split and cheating allegations.
Lachie Neale has flown to Perth, where he is expected to reunite with his estranged wife Jules and their two children: Piper, four, and Freddie, one.
The Brisbane Lions ace, 32, touched down in the WA capital on Thursday evening, looking casual in a white T-shirt, sweatpants, and a baseball cap.
When approached by journalists at Perth Airport, Lachie did not confirm the purpose of his trip or whether he would spend time with his ex-wife and their children.
In photographs obtained by The West Australian, Lachie was not wearing his wedding ring but appeared to still have a photo of Jules, 35, as his phone’s lockscreen.
Jules returned to her hometown earlier this month after the marriage breakdown due to Lachie’s alleged infidelity with her best friend, Tess Crossley.
Meanwhile, Lachie has recently moved into a new apartment in Brisbane.
The former couple met in Perth around 10 years ago when Lachie was playing for Fremantle. They got married there in 2018, and Jules owned a successful hair salon in the city.
They relocated to Brisbane in 2019 when the midfielder was transferred to the Brisbane Lions, with Jules admitting it was a “big thing” for her to leave behind her former life.
“It’s been a tough year away from family and friends. We left a lot to move here. It was a big decision for us and for me to leave the business I had. I’ve never lived away from my family,” she told The Courier Mail in 2020.

Their family home, which they purchased for $2.43 million in 2022, has now been put up for sale.
Located in the exclusive Seven Hills suburb, the home is expected to fetch more than $3 million when it hits the market.
With Lachie’s contract with the Lions ending after the 2026 season, speculation has mounted about whether the two-time Brownlow Medallist will relocate to Perth to be closer to his children.
His coach, Chris Fagan, shed light on Lachie’s future when asked whether he is planning to stay with the Lions beyond his current contract.
“I hope he does, but he’s an unrestricted free agent,” Fagan said.

“So he can make a call on what he needs to do and he probably needs the next six or seven months to see what the next right step is.
“As I say, I hope he stays and plays with us. But if he chooses to move back to Perth because he needs to be closer to his children, then he’ll do that with our blessing.
“We’re not going to hold anyone to ransom. We’ll just go along with the flow on that.”
