Gemma Collins has thrown shade at her I’m A Celebrity rival Sinitta as their camp feud spirals out of control.

The former TOWIE star, 45, took to her Instagram to make a snide remark at the 62-year-old after a pretty awkward moment between the pair that aired on the ITV show on Thursday night.

After the Savannah Scrub camp finally united with the Main Camp, Sinitta told the GC that she thought her taking on the role of Mama Morton in Chicago was a ‘joke’.

On Friday morning, reality TV queen Gemma shared an old clip of herself saying to camera: ‘Anyone who ever doubted me, said I was never going to be anything… f*** you!’

She captioned the post: ‘Never let people tell your a JOKE [sic]. I’ve been through thousands of trials and tribulations to get where I am today.’

Many rushed to share their support towards Gemma, with Jedward writing in the comments section: ‘What Sinitta said was unkind and hurtful! Love you Gemma don’t ever let anyone put you down.’

Another said: ‘the queen forever and always. A STAR.’

‘Gemma you’re doing amazing.’

‘The best of the best Gem.’

‘Amen!!!’

‘Team gemma all the way.’

The second series of I’m A Celebrity… South Africa was filmed in September 2025, and to this day, it sounds like the pair still aren’t great pals.

Sinitta is the only co-star that the former car saleswoman doesn’t follow on Instagram.

And a source also told The Sun: ‘There’s still no love lost between the women.

‘Gemma hasn’t spoken publicly about the feud and kept her silence – but following every single castmember online bar Sinitta is a clear statement from the GC.

‘It’s got everybody talking.’

On Thursday evening, Sinitta asked Gemma: ‘But what happened with Chicago?

‘You were supposed to follow me as Mama Morton.’

Gemma was due to play the character back in 2022, but had to withdraw from the production because she had suffered a ‘terrible injury’.

‘I had a terrible injury… it was something to do with the insurance,’ the GC replied.

Sinitta continued: ‘I’m sorry, but I’m going to admit it, when I heard you were going to do it, I thought it was a joke announcement.

‘I think you’d just presented something at an awards show and fell off the stage.’

‘It was like you were more of a comedian,’ Sinitta added.

Wide-eyed and hiding in her hammock, Scarlett mouthed to Seann: ‘What is happening?’

Sinitta has since slammed I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! for ‘editing’ her row with Gemma following ‘genuinely nasty’ backlash from show fans.

The So Macho singer said on social media: ‘Goodness! I know none of you have ever heard of me before because you are young, if you did you would know I’m a very kind person who would never be horrible to Gemma Collins or anyone else.

‘We actually bonded over discussing Chicago, I didn’t call her a joke, I said I thought the announcement was a joke at the time as I had not been aware that she sang and danced etc.

‘I had nothing else in common with Gemma apart from Chicago so it was a natural thing to talk to her about and they edited out us speaking amicably about the director and her calling us “2 Mama Morton’s”.

‘You are all being genuinely nasty here, because you love her, I get it. But I gave her a chance to tell her side from the horse’s mouth!

‘Think about it…. That is not rude, it’s called conversations. Why do people fear open conversations?

‘Maybe I’m too old school, but then I AM OLD and been working since the 80’s, I had a successful TV, theatre and film career before I even met Simon Cowell.’

It’s not the first bust-up between Gemma and Sinitta, as it was previously revealed that Gemma accused Sinitta of leaking stories from the cast WhatsApp chat, according to The Sun.

Sinitta refused to take the accusation, saying: ‘I’ve been accused of being the rat who’s been selling the WhatsApp stories… the only rat amongst us were those in the jungle.

‘Gemma might be suffering a little hallucinogenically from all the, er, animal scrotums.’

Friday’s episode will see Gemma get her revenge on Sinitta – with a stinging swipe at the latter’s 40-year on and off relationship with Simon Cowell.

In tonight’s (April 10) episode, the wider group agree they are enjoying not having access to their phones.

Gemma remarks that she now understands why Simon, 66, doesn’t have a mobile phone.

This, in turn, prompts fellow campmate Sir Mo Farah to ask Sinitta whether that’s true.

However, Gemma says: ‘Sinitta tries to call him and she’s got to go through two PAs, housekeepers just to get a message to him.’

Sinitta adds: ‘And then he’ll call you’, Gemma says, ‘As and when he fancies.’

Gemma asks Sinitta if she used to date Simon Cowell and Sinitta says, ‘On and off for 40 years.’

Reflecting in the Bush Telegraph, Gemma says, ‘She was in an on and off relationship with him for over 40 years and when Sinitta rings he replies and says ‘I’ll call you tomorrow Sinitta’.

‘I mean, if someone did that to me, they’d be blocked, scrubbed off the Christmas card list and yeah, I ain’t waiting around for no man to call me back.’
