Her comeback isn’t too far away!

She may have had to withdraw from the series, but La Voix has teased her return to Strictly Come Dancing. In a new health update shared on social media, the star said that fans of the BBC series should “watch out”.

The Britain’s Got Talent and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star took part in the 23rd season of Strictly, being partnered with Aljaž Škorjanec before they sadly withdrew from the competition in November after the drag queen suffered an injury to her foot.

Despite her exit, it was quickly confirmed that the pair would reunite as part of the Strictly Live Tour, which is due to get under way in Birmingham later this month. With the first date looming, La Voix shared an update on Instagram.

“Foot update! Strictly you watch out! 🔥🔥❤️,” she wrote in the caption, with the star saying in an accompanying video: “Hello my darlings… Here is my orthopaedic boot, which I wore for the entirety of pantomime [season].

“But, the week after Christmas, the physio said: ‘I think it’s time to lose the boot. I think you can start to wear regular trainers and shoes,’” she continued, adding that the healing process had “gone to plan”.

“It’s feeling so much better. There was a point where I thought it was never going to heal – standing on my slight tiptoes was so painful I thought I was never going to wear a heel again,” she added, saying that it began to feel better in the lead-up to Christmas.

“Fast forward to today and I am completely pain free. It still feels a bit weird with mobility, but I don’t have to wear this boot ever again. Hallelujah. I want to burn it even though it’s stoned. If anybody wants a stoned boot please message me.”

“I’m ready for Strictly rehearsals, which are next week. I might be in a two-inch heel, but I’ll be in heel dancing with Aljaž. I’m so excited… Thank you for all your messages and support during this time,” she concluded.

La Voix and Aljaž are part of a stacked line-up for the Strictly Live Tour, with the other celebrities including George Clarke, Lewis Cope, Vicky Pattison, Ellie Goldstein, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and special guest Layton Williams.

The line-up of professionals includes Vito Coppola, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Nancy Xu and Nikita Kuzmin amongst others, while Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke will be on the judging panel.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
