Things got VERY heated…

Fans of Love Island are used to drama, but tonight’s (12 February) episode of All Stars seemed to be too much for some as they remarked that a “toxic” atmosphere was present in the Villa.

The fiery action kicked off during the latest recoupling ceremony, where Lucinda not-so-subtly made a point of continuing her feud with Belle, despite the fact that such occasions are nominally meant for praising their partner.

After Lucinda followed Belle around the Villa in order to carry on the conversation, the drama escalated even further in the evening after new bombshell Jessy accused Lucinda of “ragebaiting” her fellow Islanders.

Jessy did attempt to appease Lucinda by explaining that she thought her co-star was “smarter” than she was letting on, but Lucinda was upset by the remark. Sean, who is coupled up with Lucinda, subsequently spoke to Jessy about the situation.

Jessy felt as if she was ambushed by Sean, and appeared upset when speaking to Belle. This led Belle to rant that she was done with the whole drama, but it looks set to continue tomorrow night.

If this wasn’t enough, there seemed to be growing animosity between Whitney and Sher. Whitney initially took issue with Sher’s attitude towards Jack, while Sher questioned if it was really her business.

While several Islanders were at loggerheads with each other, multiple viewers thought the point of the series was getting lost amid all the drama, with one writing on X: “This is starting to get v[ery] uncomfortable to watch.”

“This is such a toxic villa, this show is not good at all. The producers really REALLY need to bring back normal drama and not drama that gets people upset or super angry,” wrote a second fan as they echoed this sentiment.

“This is not even entertaining anymore. It’s uncomfortable and frankly disgusting that the producers have let it get to this point,” noted a third fan, while a fourth wrote: “This villa feels like co-workers who secretly hate each other.”

Another fan also teased tomorrow’s episode, writing: “Tomorrow is about to be another mess. Maya [Jama] I need you to walk in with evidence and start exposing people properly because this villa is getting out of hand.”

Love Island: All Stars airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
