Claudia and cute dogs?! We’re in.
Claudia Winkleman has landed herself another new presenting role after quitting Strictly Come Dancing, and this time it’s another team-up with Channel 4 following three seasons of the talent show The Piano.

Claudia will be presenting the broadcaster’s live coverage of Crufts, joining returning reporters Clare Balding, Ellie Simmonds and Radzi Chinyanganya.
The world’s most famous dog show is back on Thursday, 5 March for 20 hours of live television over four days across Channel 4 and More4.
The coverage will include some of the most popular events, including breed judging, agility, flyball and Heelwork to Music, as well as the famous Best in Show.
Dr Paul Manktelow will once again be offering viewers his best practices on looking after their dogs, while Jim Rosenthal and Frank Kane will also provide commentary.

“I absolutely love dogs and there is literally nowhere else on earth I’d rather be,” The Traitors host Claudia said in a press release.
“I can’t wait to join this incredible team and I’m so grateful to Channel 4 for allowing me to be part of it. I have a pocket rammed with treats.”
Clare added: “I’m really looking forward to working with Claudia, who is a fantastic addition to the team. She really loves dogs and will bring an additional element of fun, as well an intelligent curiosity and, of course, style.”

Since leaving Strictly following last year’s season and Christmas special, Claudia has also been given her own chat show by the BBC, which will be created by the same producers behind The Graham Norton Show and air in the spring.
“I’m obviously going to be awful, that goes without saying, but I’m over the moon they’re letting me try,” Claudia said back when her show was announced.
Meanwhile, everyone is waited with baited breath to see who will replace Claudia and Tess Daly on Strictly, with some rumoured names ruling themselves out, and others saying they would do it if asked.
Crufts begins on Channel 4 and More4 from Thursday, 5 March.
