Meghan Markle has been warned she faces a ‘difficult choice’ as her husband, Prince Harry, prepares to return to the UK and rumours swirl amid a potential reconciliation with his father, King Charles

Meghan Markle has been cautioned that she confronts an “exceedingly difficult choice” as her spouse, Prince Harry, gets ready to travel back to the UK while speculation mounts regarding a possible reconciliation with his father, King Charles.

Prince Harry will travel to the UK on September 8 to participate in the 2025 WellChild Awards, though Meghan’s most recent visit was to the UK for Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022.

During the second season of With Love, Meghan, which premiered on Netflix last week, Meghan revealed the visit made her feel “not well” since it separated her from her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, for three weeks.

According to Royal commentator Duncan Larcombe, Meghan’s struggle with being separated from her children would remain problematic if Harry continues making repeated trips to the UK.

He stated: “Meghan clearly hates being apart from her children, and when Harry comes to the UK, Meghan hasn’t come with him and has been blamed for snubbing Britain as a result.”

As covered in GB News, Mr Larcombe stated: “If, and hopefully it’s a ‘when’ not an ‘if’, Harry starts to reconcile with his family over here, Meghan will ultimately face an exceedingly difficult choice.”

He pondered: “Does she come with Harry and look the people she’s criticised in the eyes, which is going to be tough? Or does she allow Harry to come with the children and stay away? If it’s the latter, she would miss the children, and Meghan herself would interpret it as an enormous snub, and the rift would then become more about her than Harry.Prince Harry

“She faces potentially difficult choices if we’re getting to a state where Harry’s prepared to bury the hatchet.”

New speculation about reconciliation between Prince Harry and King Charles emerged in July. Los Angeles-based Meredith Maines, who leads the communications team for Harry and Meghan, traveled to London to meet with her UK counterpart, Liam Maguire.

The awards also honor the exceptional care of the people who look after them.

While Harry will undoubtedly be thrilled to attend the awards, it will also be an emotional day for him as the ceremony falls on a significant anniversary. The awards are being held on the third anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s death.

If Harry does meet his father, it will be the first time the pair has met since February 2024. Divisions between Harry and his Royal relatives are believed to be continuing.
