Meghan Markle’s Netflix show, ‘With Love, Meghan,’ has been met with mixed reviews since its premiered earlier this week.
Meghan Markle has been dealt another setback as critics persist in their harsh assessment of the second season of her Netflix series “With Love, Meghan”.
The latest installment, which debuted on Tuesday, maintained a comparable structure to the inaugural season, featuring the Duchess of Sussex preparing meals and entertaining celebrity guests.
Despite numerous viewers voicing favorable opinions about the program, several reviewers have persisted in their scathing evaluations.
The Duchess of Sussex has remained silent regarding the backlash and has instead kept posting clips from her series across social media platforms.
British publication The Spectator is among the most recent detractors, describing the new episodes as “just as ghastly as season one.”

Alexander Larman penned: “It is fair to say that the many attempts to launch her as a solo star – via television, podcasts and, of course, her ‘As Ever’ product range – have not been as successful as she (and those with a vested interest in her earning power) might have wished.
“Unless she is prepared to write yet another tell-all memoir, she risks dwindling into obscurity.”
The Guardian’s Lucy Mangan represents another detractor, branding the latest season “so boring”.
She penned this week: “It’s so boring, so contrived, so effortfully whimsical that, do you know what? In the end, it does become almost fascinating.”
Although Meghan has encountered substantial negative criticism regarding her Netflix series, she has simultaneously garnered considerable acclaim
Town & Country magazine appeared to be a fan of the new series, with their review stating: “When Meghan is slightly out of her comfort zone, With Love, Meghan succeeds; the series is best when she is learning alongside the audience, and authentically reacting to new things.”
The BBC’s Sean Coughlan also expressed his admiration for the show, describing With Love, Meghan as a form of “escapism and aspiration”.
He commented: “It’s a glass of something sparkling on a grey day.”
