I’m A Celebrity… South Africa fans were fuming as one campmate was presented with a cruel twist. During Wednesday’s (April 15) instalment of the ITV show, Jimmy Bullard and Harry Redknapp went head-to-head in a gruelling eating trial, with both hoping to win a safari trip and a luxurious banquet for their teams.

Representing the Rhinos was Jimmy, who entered the trial with the lead against Harry’s Lions. The pair were forced to chow down on five grim dishes, including wild boar penis, fermented tofu, impala eyes, kudu intestines and worms and pig anus. With both men having successfully eaten all five dishes, Ant and Dec revealed there was a tie-break to ensure one team captain came out victorious.

They were presented with a concoction of fermented fish and stinky tofu and told whoever drank it the quickest would be the winner. Harry admitted he had never been good at downing drinks, while Jimmy looked much more confident.

Jimmy finished his drinks in seconds, meaning the Rhinos left as the winners. As both teams left the bushtucker trial area, Ant and Dec asked Harry to stay.

They revealed that it was time for one of his teammates to leave the camp for good – and he must decide which one goes.

Fans immediately flocked to X to comment on the harsh twist, with many believing it is unfair on team captain Harry.

One wrote: “That is actually really unfair, I wonder if that means the first to go home will be on the losing team as well.”

Another agreed: “Making Harry choose who goes is nasty work.”

A third echoed: “Poor Harry man. That’s horrible.”

Another posted: “So brutal that Harry has to choose.”

That means that either David Haye, Seann Walsh, Ashley Roberts, Mo Farah or Scarlett Moffatt will be the first campmate to leave this year’s series.

Several viewers on X voiced their hopes that Harry would choose to get rid of David, after his previous remarks in camp left many branding him “sexist”.

“I hope he doesn’t pick Sean.. David has to go,” one said as another agreed: “Harry, be even more of a hero and get rid of David PLEASE.”

A third declared: “If he picks anyone other than David Haye we riot!!!”

Viewers will have to tune into tomorrow night’s episode to find out who Harry chooses.
