The critically acclaimed psychological crime drama The Sinner focuses less on the crime itself and more on understanding why individuals commit these horrifying acts.
While each series focuses on a distinct case, the heart of The Sinner is Detective Harry Ambrose, played by Bill Pullman, who tirelessly delves into gruesome acts of violence and their disturbing underlying causes.
The Sinner first hit our screens with Hollywood star Jessica Biel leading the cast back in 2017.
The following year we got a second run that saw Pullman back as Detective Henry Ambrose with a new leading lady in Gone Girl star Carrie Coon.
The gritty drama returned for its third season in 2020, with the likes of Magic Mike hunk Matt Bomer joining the cast as an expectant father who needs help from the detective following a horrific car crash.
