Meghan Markle has once again given fans a peek into the lives of her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, through Instagram. This time, she shared a delightful photo and short video of four-year-old Lilibet in celebration of a special day.

To commemorate International Day of the Girl, Meghan posted a charming picture of Lili frolicking across the lawn in a pink ensemble. This was followed by an endearing mother-daughter snapshot, showcasing the duo admiring their garden.

The caption read, “To all the girls – this world is yours. Do everything you can to protect your rights, use your voice, support each other. We will do the same for you. It’s your right and our responsibility. Go get ’em girl! Happy International Day of the Girl.” It comes after Meghan and Harry were snapped grabbing a bite to eat with British music legend Ed Sheeran.

Once again, fans were captivated by Lilibet’s long red hair, neatly tied up in a ponytail, with many commenting on how much she resembles her father, Prince Harry.

One admirer commented on X, “The cutest red headed Princess, Lilibet Diana.” Another chimed in, “As Prince Harry said, the Spencer red gene is indeed VERY strong.”

Yet another fan wrote, “Our little red hair Princess Lilibet,” while one observed, “Lili has her daddy’s height as well as his hair.”

However, Lilibet’s hair wasn’t the only detail that caught the eye in the photo. As Meghan and Lili gaze out at a stream, the young princess can be seen sporting her £46 rainbow bag from plush toy brand Jellycat.

The plush cuddly toys have admirers across the globe and it appears Lilibet isn’t the sole Royal Family member who adores them. Earlier this year, Prince William disclosed how his three kids were devotees of the toys and called them ‘serious currency’ for youngsters.

This occurred when he and his spouse Kate reconnected with the relatives of Liz Hatton, the teen photographer who touched the nation’s heart through her courageous battle with cancer, at a Buckingham Palace garden party.

During their encounter, Liz’s younger sibling presented William and Kate with lemon pie and pickled onion Jellycat toys as presents. This led the Prince of Wales to comment: “My children will love these. They are children’s currency.”

Lili – the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s youngest offspring – was born on June 4 2021 and was christened Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

She only gained the right to be a princess when her grandfather the King took the throne, due to regulations established by King George V in 1917.

Harry and Meghan began using prince and princess titles for Archie and Lili following the princess’s christening in 2023, after exchanging letters with Charles on the subject.

Lilibet takes her name from her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II. Princess Elizabeth struggled to pronounce her own name as a young child and her grandfather George V would lovingly call her Lilibet, copying her own efforts to say Elizabeth.

The endearing nickname remained and she became known as Lilibet to her relatives from that point forward.
