Landman Season 2 has officially wrapped filming — and December can’t come soon enough. The Taylor Sheridan-created Paramount+ series has concluded production on its second season in Fort Worth, Texas, according to social media updates from cast members including Ali Larter and James Jordan. Filming began in late March and took the Landman team all across North Texas, including Fort Worth, TCU’s campus, and nearby towns like Springtown, Benbrook, Jacksboro, and Cresson. On Thursday, Larter — who plays Angela in the series — posted an update on Instagram:

“That’s a wrap for season 2 of Landman! Our incredible cast and crew is playing at the top of their game. You can feel all the time, effort, love, laughter, and dedication that goes into making our show so special. I’m so thankful to be a part of this and can’t wait to share it with you.”

Jordan, who plays fan-favorite Dale, also confirmed that filming had wrapped:

“And that’s a wrap on Dale for season 2 of @landmanpplus. Lookin’ forward to ya’ll catching us starting this December on @paramountplus. All the hearts. All the love. Good to be home.”

When Does Landman Season 2 Come Out?


According to Paramount Global co-CEO Chris McCarthyLandman Season 2 will hit Paramount+ sometime this December, just in time for the holidays. The announcement came during the company’s Q2 earnings call on July 31.

In the meantime, Sheridan fans won’t be left out in the cold. The third season of Tulsa King debuts in September, followed by Mayor of Kingstown Season 4 in October, all part of the ever-expanding Sheridanverse that continues to dominate the streaming space.

First premiering in November 2024, Landman is described as a “modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of West Texas oil rigs,” and stars Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris — a crisis manager navigating the volatile energy landscape of Big Oil. The series is co-created by Sheridan and Christian Wallace, based on Wallace’s Texas Monthly podcast Boomtown.
