Alex Scott was rushed to the medical tent during chaotic scenes on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! that were not aired. On Friday (28.11.25), former England women’s footballer Alex became the first star to be voted off the current series of the ITV show. Prior to her exit, it was revealed by The Mirror that she was left “panicking” after finding a tick on her shoulder. In a new interview since leaving the camp, Alex unveiled: “I was sitting next to Martin [Kemp] after carrying the logs and I felt my shoulder, and I was like, ‘Oh, that’s a big spot that’s come up.’
“I asked him to have a look, then Kelly jumps up and says, ‘It’s a tick.’ I was panicking as she was shouting that I needed to get to medical. I knew about ticks and leeches, but I always thought it wouldn’t happen to me. They got it off but no one else has had one.”

Alex spent 14 days in the I’m a Celebrity jungle before losing out on the public vote.
After being evicted, she said: “Oh my days. It’s like being free. It feels strange, it doesn’t feel real. It’s been such an incredible experience, mentally it’s so tough and I did struggle at times missing home.
“But I’m so glad I got to do this series with such a great bunch of campmates. The laughter the humour with everyone bouncing off each other we really connected, and I wasn’t expecting that coming into the jungle.”
She has also spoken of her reaction when her girlfriend, Jess Glynne, didn’t appear on the famous bridge to meet her. Jess didn’t fly to Australia to support Alex because her mother recently had a stroke.

Instead of Jess, Alex’s close friend Regan Coleman was waiting, as the two women shared an emotional hug. According to The Mirror, they reported that Alex debated whether she should pull out of the show due to Jess’s mum, but in the end, her partner told Alex that she had to go to Australia.
Alex reportedly said: “It’s been a tough time for us and obviously her family, and it was a tough decision to come into the jungle, but then Jess never wanted me to step away from not doing it.”
“I knew there was always a possibility of her not being across the bridge, if her mum hadn’t got better, or if things had been getting worse, which they have been.
“But it was a big decision for me to not pass this opportunity, and Jess was the one that pushed me to be here. […] My first thought when I didn’t see Jess on the bridge was that I needed to FaceTime and speak to her.”
