A “DANGEROUS” drill rapper who remains on the run after escaping custody twice in a week has taunted police again with a new clip.

Daniel Boakye, who performs as DSAVV, has posted a music video to Instagram which includes the line: “Catch me if you can.”

The freestyle rap, shared on Saturday, appears to show the fugitive, 21, wearing a hoodie and lip-synching to lyrics like “I’m the guy, yeah the boss of the UK” and “done it twice now, they think I’m insane”.

Then, while doing a motion like he’s using a steering wheel, he adds: “Catch me if you can.”

Boakye – who is due to be deported – previously posted another boastful video captioned “I’m free” and “Fresh home!!!” with a Sun article about his escape appearing on a screen in the background.

The HMP Feltham inmate was caged for a string of knifepoint robberies.

He gave bungling prison officers the slip at West Middlesex University Hospital on February 10.

He was snared by cops at an address in south-east London the following day before escaping the Metropolitan Police‘s custody again by running away last Sunday (February 15) from a hospital in Lewisham.

In his previous video, the hooded thug appears to be in a studio and brags “I just broke out of jail like Modie” and “f*** the government, fam they’re phoneys” alongside a picture of Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

Modie is a reference to a character in Netflix crime drama Top Boy played by London rap artist Dave.

Boakye’s second escape in a week comes just months before he was due to be deported to Ghana.

Government sources previously told The Sun that his deportation is still being “actively pursued”.

Following his arrest in Thamesmead, police also held two women aged 20 and 51, a 17-year-old girl and a man aged 30 on suspicion of assisting an offender.

All four were later released on bail pending further enquiries.

Boakye, of Enfield, north London was jailed for six years and five months in July 2023 over a spate of terrifying knife robberies in the capital that he and three accomplices carried out.

He was one of four then-teenagers sent to prison after stealing £115,000 worth of cryptocurrency in knifepoint robberies across London.

The court heard how the gang – Boakye, Justin Popoola, Nathan Mohalland and a 17-year-old – carried out the spate of robberies across London from June 2021 to January 2022.

They threatened victims with knives and forced them to hand over phones and passcodes needed to unlock the devices.

They then siphoned off victims’ cryptocurrency into “hot wallets”, resulting in more than £155,000 worth of the digital currency being stolen.

Detectives tracked them down after they used the stolen bank information to order takeaways to their home addresses.

Boakye is understood to have links to London gang OFB – Original Farm Boys – based on the Broadwater Farm estate in Tottenham.

His second escape from custody follows a string of blunders that have seen lags – including Epping hotel migrant Hadush Kebatu –freed in error sparking manhunts.

A Met spokeswoman said on February 17: “We are searching for a 21-year-old man who absconded from Lewisham hospital at around 15:05hrs on Sunday, 15 February.

“Daniel Boakye was in police custody at the hospital receiving medical treatment when he fled.

“Officers gave chase but could not detain Boakye before he left the building.

“He is 21-years-old, black, of medium height and slim build. He was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a dark Nike jacket when he absconded.

“We are currently reviewing this incident to fully understand the events which unfolded. The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards is aware.”

Asked about the hunt for Boakye, a Met spokesperson told The Sun: “No update at this stage.”
