Another fan shared: “I love it so much. I consider this movie as one of my lifetime favourites. The soundtrack is probably the best of all epic movies I have ever seen; it is absolutely underrated.”
A third called it “one of the most beautiful, near-perfect epic tales ever filmed”, while a fourth shared: “One of the most epic movies there ever was. Every time I watch I feel it. Amazing cast, amazing action, romance.

The film follows the last members of a dying Native American tribe, the Mohicans – Uncas (Eric Schweig), his father Chingachgook (Russell Means) and his adopted half-white brother Hawkeye (Daniel Day-Lewis).
They live in peace alongside British colonists, but when the daughters of a British colonel are kidnapped by a traitorous scout, Hawkeye and Uncas vow to rescue them amidst the French and Indian War.
The main stars were so dedicated to the roles that they took part in weeks of wilderness training with US Army Special Forces personnel.
Day-Lewis learned to use period weapons, start fires, and even hunt and skin game.
The film was ranked the 17th-highest-grossing film of 1992 in the US when it was first released.
The Last of the Mohicans is on Paramount+.
