John Foster has been keeping busy after placing runner-up on American Idol season 23.
The country singer went on vacation with his girlfriend, Brooklyn Bourque, to Navarre Beach, Florida.

John Foster has had quite a busy few months, but he’s making sure to take some time off with someone special in his life.

The country singer made a name for himself earlier this year, when he placed second on American Idol season 23. While his summer has already been a whirlwind, John decided to take a breather and enjoy a vacation with his girlfriend, Brooklyn Bourque. As he posted a selfie of the couple posing by the ocean in Navarre Beach, Florida, John also teased to his fans that the getaway is a good respite as more exciting things happen in his career.

“@brooklyn_bourque and I are sending all of our family love from Navarre Beach!” he wrote on Instagram on June 28. “We’re enjoying some relaxation in between working to get some great things going!”

Given how John has been super engaged in his music as of late, fans adored how he made sure to tend to his personal life away from cameras and social media.

“Great things coming, you are incredible!” one person exclaimed in the comments. “Beautiful couple!! Have fun in the Sun! Love this area of Florida, the quiet, peaceful side!! ❤️❤️,” another wished John and Brooklyn. “Cutest couple alert on the Beach 🏖️ 😎 Have fun you two … enjoy some R & R … you deserve it ❤️,” a different follower added.

Even the official American Idol Instagram account commented on the post, writing a cheeky: “Wear your sunscreen! ❤️.”

Aw, we absolutely love this for John! And for those who aren’t familiar with Brooklyn, she was beside John throughout his American Idol journey earlier this year. In fact, Brooklyn had the chance to go see John perform several times throughout the competition, and she had to gush about how proud she was of him for doing the show.

“Wow I’m still reminiscing this special moment!!” she wrote on Instagram after the cameras captured her supporting John on American Idol back in May. “I feel so blessed to love and be loved by someone who is so genuine, thoughtful, and so so very sweet. You make me so happy all I can do is jump up and down!! I just love our love ☺️ @officialjohnfoster.”

We’re so happy for the couple and can’t wait to see what’s next for John in his career!
