This month, ITVX subscribers have been spoilt with a brand-new series on the streaming service as all eight episodes of The Hunting Wives dropped at once.
The steamy drama first premiered in the US on Netflix back in July, where it quickly became a massive sensation.
Now available for UK audiences, the programme – which has been branded as the “naughtiest” show on telly – has already got viewers completely captivated.
The story centres on Sophie O’Neil (portrayed by Brittany Snow), who chooses to abandon her Boston existence after accidentally causing someone’s death, relocating with her husband Graham (Evan Jonigkeit) and their child.
Upon moving to East Texas, Sophie struggles to settle into her fresh environment, reports the Mirror.
Everything changes when she encounters her neighbour Margo Banks (Malin Åkerman), who transforms Sophie’s entire world.
Sophie becomes infatuated with Margo, who appears to be in an open marriage, developing both physical and emotional feelings for her.
Before long, she’s drawn into Margo’s exclusive social circle dubbed The Hunting Wives.
As a passionate affair develops, audiences are treated to explicit intimate scenes involving both Margo and Sophie’s spouse.

Yet the situation takes a dramatic twist when the elite group of Hunting Wives becomes embroiled in a murder probe.
The show has created quite a buzz online, with countless viewers declaring themselves ‘obsessed’ with the provocative scenes and intricate storyline.
One viewer gushed: “I love it! It’s spicy, interesting, and suspenseful. I hope they keep it going.”
Another fan declared: “I’m absolutely addicted to this show!”.
Taking to X, one enthusiast revealed: “Just binged watched the s**t out of this on @ITVX It’s like Desperate Housewives gone rogue. Need season 2!”
A different user posted: “The Hunting Wives was a good watch” whilst another confessed: “Is it bad that I’m obsessed with The Hunting Wives? I mean, Margo and Sophie are both toxic but I just can’t get enough.”
Devotees will be delighted to discover the programme has already secured the green light for a second series, currently in production, though no air date has been confirmed as yet.
The Hunting Wives is available to watch now on ITVX.
