Two people have been killed and more than 20 others injured after a tram derailed in the Italian city of Milan.
The packed tram reportedly left the tracks, struck a traffic light and then crashed into the side of a building.
Authorities are still investigating the cause, with early reports suggesting the tram may have been travelling too fast as it rounded a corner.
Milan’s mayor has indicated human error may be responsible, saying the driver failed to keep the tram aligned and will be questioned in hospital, where he is being treated for injuries.
