Police say Sharon was last seen by family when she was put to bed at her home on Marshall Court in Old Timers Camp about 11.30 pm on Saturday.

“Police have conducted an initial search of the area utilising extensive resources and have been unable to locate Sharon,” a statement by NT Police said.

“She was last seen wearing a dark blue short-sleeve T-shirt with a white ring stripe around the neck and a white ring stripe around the end of the sleeves, and a pair of black boxer-style underwear.

“Police are seeking public help to find 47-year-old male, Mr Jefferson Lewis, who police believe can assist with enquiries.”

In a press conference, Acting Commander Mark Grieve said police had been unable to locate Lewis.

“He is believed to have been in the area around that time and staying at the residence,” he said,” Acting Commander Grieve said.

“He currently remains one of the few people who were in Old Timers camp at the time and who has not made themselves known to police, nor have police been able to locate him.

“We do believe Sharon has been abducted.”
