The Royal Family is capitalising on the opportunity to grow their global fan base through social media platforms, according to a former royal butler.
King Charles and Queen Camilla are represented by the Royal Family’s official social media accounts on Facebook, X and Instagram.
The Prince and Princess of Wales also have their own social media accounts and regularly post personal messages on their online platforms.
The former royal butler told GB News that senior royals are embracing social media and using it to their advantage.

way they had been in the past.
“Now the world knows about them first, before you even read a bit of the news.

“It has given their old family a whole new platform, and they’re embracing that to their advantage.”
Prince Harry’s relatable approach was hailed by the former Royal Family butler as a key way of engaging with the younger generation of Britons.

The former royal butler said during an exclusive interview with GB News in collaboration with Smooth Spins.: “They (the Royal Family) need to be relatable. People love celebrities nowadays.
“We look up to these people for how they dress, how they act, their lifestyles, where they live and what they eat and drink.
“We have more social media influencers now so they’ve got to be more relatable to connect with the public.
“So they basically have to become a modern celebrity.”
He added: “That is what Harry was.”
