Gia Fleur and Scott McCristal got married on MAFS Australia 2026 and become one of the strongest couples, but are they still together or have they split? Here’s what we know.

Married At First Sight Australia’s Scott McCristal and Gia Fleur became one of the most talked about couples in 2026.

With Gia hailed as one of the “wildest” brides in MAFS history, no one expected these newlyweds to last but they built a strong connection and made their way all the way to the final week of the experiment.

However, it wasn’t all honeymoon bliss for Gia and Scott who began to crumble as the TV show drew to a close and reality started to set in.

Gia’s argumentative side turned towards her husband and their fiery rows, lack of communication and jealousy all began to cause problems in their relationship.

So are MAFS Australia’s Scott and Gia still together now? Here’s what happened with the pair…

Are MAFS Australia’s Gia and Scott still together?

Unfortunately, Gia and Scott are no longer together and their exit from the show was nothing short of explosive.

Following a string of arguments, sparked by the Final Task, Scott attended the last Dinner Party with a letter for his wife, ending things for good.

It read: “I came into this experiment with the highest hopes of finding someone that I would have something real with. I’ve felt throughout this experience I’ve tried to be the best man I can be for Gia.

“Sadly, though, this was never enough to appease Gia. I’ve been met with daily criticisms, belittling comments and threats of being left single.

“I’ve come to realise though that no matter what I do or say it will never change who Gia is. At this point enough has been done and said to let me and everyone else know who Gia is and what she stands for,.

“Morally, we aren’t aligned. We hold different values of what a relationship should be. I can’t be with a woman who, behind my back, proclaims to the first guy, ‘I can’t be with a guy who doesn’t have money and will pay for everything’.

“I’m not sure what you’re looking for Gia, but I can tell you’re not the one for me. We are a different calibre of people.”

Viewers may have expected the pair to turn up at Final Vows, since they’d left and returned to the experiment many times before. But we can confirm their journey ended for good at the final Dinner Party.

Appearing on the spin-off show After The Dinner Party, Gia faced some home truths and even admitted she needed to apologise to Scott for how she treated him.

She said: “I am sorry to you Scott, I genuinely feel bad. I feel like I did break and hurt this man. I hope he finds happiness. He’s got a beautiful heart and he’ll make someone really happy one day.”

Both Gia and Scott have both moved on and gone public with their new partners.
