UNSETTLING surveillance footage showed the moment the mother of 16 children was seen cowering in an orange jail jumpsuit while authorities grilled her following her arrest.
The newly released video showed the moment the four Siders family members, Elizabeth, Gary Jr., Gary Sr., and Christina, were booked into the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail after being arrested on June 30.

The ailing health of Gary Siders Sr., 73, was apparent as he struggled to exit a Vinton County Sheriff’s van before being placed in a wheelchair and escorted into the facility by deputies.
As deputies wheeled Siders Sr. inside, Gary Jr., 36, is seen exiting the sheriff’s van, shackled by the ankles and handcuffed.
The pair are followed by Christina, 66, who was handcuffed, and Elizabeth, 33, who are escorted inside the jail by two female deputies.
Elizabeth – the mother of all 16 children allegedly kept in a 12×12 room in deplorable conditions – was notably the only family member not handcuffed or shackled.
As she’s being searched by deputies, Elizabeth appeared shaken, hunched over, with her right hand tightly gripping her left forearm.
Moments later, video from inside the facility showed Elizabeth, whose hair now appeared to be wet, seated in a plastic chair and dressed in an orange jumpsuit as deputies questioned her.
During the questioning, Elizabeth is seen cowering over with her hands on her lap.
Throughout the footage, deputies were seen questioning each family member separately.
It’s unclear what questions the Siders family members were being asked as there was no audio with the footage.
All four family members have pleaded not guilty to 16 counts of felony child endangerment.

Vinton County Sheriff’s deputies stumbled upon the stomach-turning conditions at the house in Hamden after executing a warrant for Gary Jr.’s arrest on unrelated indecency charges stemming from several incidents in May.
Sheriff Ryan Cain said officers did not expect to find 16 children living in the single-family home.
Cain said the children appeared to be almost like “feral animals,” some unable to speak, adding, “Our livestock was kept in better conditions.”
“It was just a disgusting scene,” he said.
Ohio Attorney General Andy Wilson called the scene “pure evil.”
“It really looked third world. It’s the type of thing that we’re not used to seeing here in America,” he said.
“[It’s] almost indescribable.”
Authorities believe the children were kept in the cramped space for “most of the last four years.”
The conditions in the house were so decrepit that the children were “literally about to fall through the floor,” Wilson said.
“One of the worst environments that I’ve seen in my career.”

Since their arrests, it’s been revealed that Elizabeth and Gary Jr. are the parents of all 16 children.
The couple married in March 2008 in Mason County, West Virginia, according to records.
At the time, Elizabeth was 15 years old, while Gary II was 18 years old.
A West Virginia judge approved the couple’s marriage after Elizabeth’s parents gave consent.
West Virginia did not set a minimum age for marriage at the time.
Two months after tying the knot, Elizabeth gave birth to the couple’s first child.
Elizabeth, Christina, and Gary Jr. are being held on $300,000 bond each.
Siders Sr. was released from jail and hospitalized due to his ailing medical condition, which prosecutors feared could have bankrupted Vinton County.
Gary Jr. is due in court on Thursday for a hearing on the unrelated indecency charges.
