Their final performance, a magical-themed Tango during the Halloween Special (Saturday, November 1), where Ellie pulled her bunny-costumed partner out of a hat, failed to bring them luck. Instead, it landed them in their first dance-off, facing off against actress Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon.
Despite their effort, the judges’ verdict—delivered by Anton du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood, and Motsi Mabuse—was unanimous: they chose to save Balvinder and Julian. The journey of the “Cheeky Team” officially concluded on Sunday (November 2).
Vito Coppola, upon receiving the results, shared heartfelt words about his experience partnering with Ellie, while also making a firm vow: “to keep dancing.” And he kept his promise just days later.
