It’s a great day to be an XO, Kitty fan! Netflix has just announced the best news ever for the hit teen series, and we can hardly contain our excitement. Not only did the streaming giant just reveal the official release date for the show’s highly anticipated third season, but it also shared a bunch of new images from the new installment!
With filming wrapping up on XO, Kitty season 3 way back in July 2025, we knew that a release date announcement would be coming soon. Now, we finally know when our favorite teen matchmaker will be back on our screens! Hopefully, you have your marker ready to mark your calendar. If so, drum roll, please!
XO, Kitty season 3 is officially coming to Netflix in April 2026
It’s really true! Netflix has set an April 2026 release for XO, Kitty season 3. The exact release date? Well, it’ll be Thursday, April 2, 2026. Don’t believe us? Check out the show’s title page on the platform, and you’ll see this exact release date. There were rumors swirling around that the third installment might come out in May, so this is a pleasant surprise for fans eager to see Kitty’s next adventures sooner rather than later!
Like the previous season, you can expect there to be eight episodes in XO, Kitty season 3. Each will be about 30 minutes long. The season won’t be split up into batches either. That means all eight episodes will drop at once on April 2, so fans can binge the entire season in one go.
You can also expect the entire season to drop at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET on its release date. That’s when Netflix typically drops new content on its platform. It’s been done for the past two seasons, and it’s expected to be the same for season 3.
Created by Jenny Han, XO, Kitty season 3 will see Kitty take on her senior year at KISS. If you recall from the season 2 finale, Kitty doesn’t end up with anyone after a complicated school year. However, the season ended with there possibly being a spark between her and Min Ho after she decides to join him on his family’s summer tour. Fans were left wondering if their relationship might finally take off.
Well, things might finally heat up in XO, Kitty season 3 as Kitty makes it her mission to “define her relationship with Min Ho.” That’s what the official logline for season 3 reads. We shared the full logline below via Netflix.
“Kitty returns for her final year at KISS with her perfect senior year mapped out. She’s going to make meaningful memories with her friends, grow closer to her relatives in Korea, and make big decisions about her future. And, she’s going to define her relationship with Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee). For real this time. But when surprise revelations derail her plans and relationships, Kitty will have to learn to embrace the unexpected.”
Anna Cathcart returns as Kitty Song-Covey. Other returning cast members include Minyeong Choi, Gia Kim, Sang Heon Lee, Anthony Keyvan, Regan Aliyah, Hojo Shin, Peter Thurnwald, Joshua Lee, Sasha Bhasin, Michael K. Lee, Philippe Lee, Jocelyn Shelfo, Han Bi Ryu, and Sunny Oh. Additionally, three new cast members are joining this season. They are Sule Thelwell, Soy Kim, and Christine Hwang.
