If you thought all the other MAFS dinner parties had drama this season, tonight was a whole other ballgame. The 2026 MAFS Dinner Party Reunion just served us some major tea and honestly our jaws are on the floor.

While everyone celebrated Stella and Filip’s engagement and mourned Rachel and Steven’s break-up (we’re here for you, Rachel), Joel was just ecstatic to be there and watch the drama unfold.

Tyson was also in a pot-stirring mood as he giddily rocked up to the dinner party and brought up rumours he heard about Alissa and David as well as Bec, Danny, and Steph. I guess he thought he had nothing to lose and honestly, it made for some great TV.

Speaking to WHO, David spoke about what went down and what motivated his approach with Alissa.

In the lead up to the dinner party reunion, rumours had been spreading about some suspicious text messages between Danny and Stephanie that were sure to send Bec spiralling. While tonight’s episode very much confirmed this, we also gained more clarity about the nature of Bec and Danny’s post-experiment relationship, or rather lack thereof.

Danny’s unaired fight with Steph

While the most explosive moment of the night appeared to be Bec’s tirade against Danny and Steph, there was apparently another lash-out behind the closed doors after Danny stormed out of the dinner party.

Prior to the dinner party reunion, Bec found out about some damning texts exchanged between Danny and Steph. Steph told Bec about the texts and allowed her to scroll through their message chain.

An insider source exposed these texts to Women’s Day revealing that intruder bride Stephanie reached out to Danny before the Reunion asking him to come to the reunion and help stir up trouble against Tyson. They also spoke about what it’s like to be in real estate and Steph sent some pics of her recent trip to Hamilton Island (with one being a “bikini pic” Bec can’t get over at the Reunion).

While this was all revealed at the dinner party, with Bec calling Steph and Danny a “dog” and a “sl-t”, leading to yet another apology tomorrow night, Danny ultimately walked out and never came back.

Throughout the experiment, Bec has released videos of the pair together on social media. After hearing Danny say Bec “is not wife material” and that he “wants nothing to do with her”, we’re not so sure they were ever friends post-experiment (or if I’d want to be if I was either of them).

Women’s Day’s insider source revealed that Danny does not return for the Commitment Ceremony reunion and apparently “loses it” at Stephanie after storming out of the dinner party.

As the intruder bride apparently tries to talk to Danny after he walks out, Danny is still in a rage.

“He tells her that he never wants to speak to her again,” the source told the publication. “He’s like ‘You’ve got what you wanted, which was more air time. You’re blocked!’”

The leaked messages now show that Danny has blocked Stephanie.

While Bec’s words were “unhinged”, it’s interesting Danny and Steph’s fight also wasn’t aired, hinting that maybe the behind-the-scenes footage will air at the Commitment Ceremony Reunion on Monday night.

Time will tell.

David aired out Alissa’s ‘dirty laundry’

Alissa entered the dinner party reunion expecting an apology from David. David entered the dinner party prepared to stand his ground.

After she pulled him aside at the start of the episode, David responded to her “you disrespected me” with a “I faced the music the whole experiment” and refused to apologise.

When Tyson brought up their tension at the dinner table (with a smile on his face might I add), Alissa unleashed on David saying that he “spat on [her] face” by walking away at Final Vows.

To that comment, David simply aired out her “dirty laundry”, listing all the “red flags” she showed throughout the experiment such as putting down his “physical appearance” and getting “some friend’s number” on the flight to Adelaide when she returned her dress (could this friend be her now-boyfriend Nathan Ryles?). In response, Alissa simply blamed her “bubbly personality.”

Speaking to WHO, David said Alissa’s lash-out at him was a surprise.

“How she came at me at the reunion made no sense,” he said. “Because she never tried to contact me from the end of the experiment.”

It’s safe to say their chapter well and truly closed at final vows and has not opened again since.

“We haven’t exchanged any recent messages,” David said to WHO. Their last exchange was at the reunion, and he noted how they “hadn’t spoken before” the drama-filled night.
