More than three decades after the case that tore the heart of Britain, the tragedy of James Bulger has exploded once more, revealing terrifying details that were deliberately suppressed. Ralph Bulger, the devastated father, has forced the public to confront the most terrible truth: The two 10-year-old killers, Robert Thompson and Jon Venables, were not only brutal murderers but also sexual abusers.

Chilling Evidence: The Three AA Batteries

On September 28, 2025, during a live broadcast of This Morning, Ralph Bulger, 55, released evidence that the English legal system had desperately tried to conceal. His voice choked with desperate rage, he declared: “Those monsters ruined my son – they violated James with the most despicable acts!”

New documents, declassified following a 2024 Freedom of Information request related to the 1993 Merseyside Police investigation, lifted the veil on a horrific secret: Three AA batteries were found inside James’s body.

The files, which had been legally suppressed under the Mary Bell Order (intended to protect the perpetrators’ identities), now clearly confirm: “Batteries were inserted into the boy’s anus, causing severe internal injuries,” consistent with sexual abuse. Ralph alleged that this truth was “intentionally buried to protect the trial process” from excessive trauma.

In the moment he confronted host Holly Willoughby, Ralph clutched a photo of his son, his tears mixing with sheer outrage.
