🚨 SHE NEVER IMAGINED SHE WOULD ONE DAY BE RAISING HER SISTER’S LITTLE BOY… AND NOW, JANA ARMSTRONG’S SISTER IS SHARING THE HEARTBREAK NO FAMILY SHOULD EVER HAVE TO ENDURE

‘I’m still trying to navigate my grief after losing my beautiful baby girl and now holding my nephew in my arms, while grieving the loss of my best friend and sister.’

The sister of Jada Armstrong has revealed the heartbreaking pact the pair made just weeks before her alleged murder.

The sister of a woman allegedly killed by her former partner has revealed the heartbreaking struggle she faces in the wake of the tragedy.

Jana Armstrong, 30, was last seen at a property on Gordon Ave in Newtown, Toowoomba, on July 7. Desperate search efforts uncovered the mother’s body off a rural road about an hour’s drive north five days later.

She leaves behind her four-month-old son, Deshal, who will now be raised by Armstrong’s devastated sister, Faith Isaacs.

It’s the second tragedy to hit Isaacs, who lost her daughter due to birth complications just weeks prior to losing her sister.

“I’m still trying to navigate my grief after losing my beautiful baby girl and now holding my nephew in my arms, while grieving the loss of my best friend and sister,” she said in a post to social media on Friday.

“It’s a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone.”

Taking up the responsibility of caring for each other’s children was part of a pact made between the sisters, which had been formed while Isaacs was grieving the loss of her daughter, The Guardian reported.

The inseparable pair agreed that if one were to die, their children would be cared for by the other.

In the hours after Armstrong’s body was discovered, Isaacs promised to make good on the pact.

“I promise you, Jana, your beautiful baby boy will always know exactly who his mummy was, how deeply you loved him and just how incredibly special you were,” she said.

“I will speak your name, share your stories and keep your memory alive for him every single day.

“I will never, ever let him forget his beautiful mummy.”

During the search for her sister, Isaacs said her daughter and Deshal were “supposed to be growing up together”.

“But now she’s not here and Jana’s not here,” she told 7NEWS.

The death sent shockwaves across Australia, with many sharing their support for the heartbroken family.

“Thank you to everyone who shared Jana’s missing person posts, searched for her, donated, brought us food, checked in on us and sent messages,” Isaacs said.

“Every single act of kindness no matter how big or small has helped us push through.”

Police arrested Armstrong’s former partner, 48-year-old Dharminder Singh, hours after her body was discovered and charged him with domestic violence murder.

He was refused bail and will return to court on September 14.
