🚨 CASE UPDATE: A MOVE BY LINDSAY CLANCY’S HUSBAND REGARDING KEY EVIDENCE IS DRAWING ATTENTION… AND THE REASON BEHIND IT IS SPARKING WIDESPREAD DEBATE

Patrick Clancy doesn’t want the public to hear his 911 call or see photos of his three kids as his ex-wife Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial begins.

The motion, filed this week, asks Plymouth Superior Court Judge William Sullivan to bar the public and media from seeing and sharing photos of the kids taken before their deaths, at the crime scene and during their autopsies.

Lindsay Clancy is accused of strangling her daughters, 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old son Dawson and 8-month-old Callan with exercise bands at the family’s Duxbury, Massachusetts, home in January 2023.

Patrick made the 911 call after returning home with takeout and finding the children unresponsive in the basement. Linsday survived a suicide attempt afterwards and is now paralyzed from the waist down.

Prosecutors have argued the killings were planned, pointing to evidence that Lindsay sent her husband to pick up takeout from a restaurant the family didn’t normally visit and used Apple Maps to track how long he’d be gone, according to NewsNation local affiliate WPRI.

What is Lindsay Clancy’s postpartum psychosis defense?

Defense attorney Kevin Reddington doesn’t dispute that Lindsay killed her children. He plans to argue she lacked criminal responsibility due to postpartum psychosis, a rare condition that can cause delusions and hallucinations after childbirth.

Similarly, defense attorney and former prosector Mark Eiglarsh told NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo that prosecutors will likely argue Lindsay waited until her husband left the house to kill the children, and that her own suicide attempt afterward shows she knew what she’d done was wrong.

How many jurors will hear the Lindsay Clancy trial?

Sullivan has seated 18 jurors for the trial, six as alternates, matching the number picked for Karen Read’s second murder trial in 2025. Reddington called it unusual, telling NBC 10 Boston he’s never had that many jurors before.

Patrick is expected to testify for his ex-wife, according to People. He has said publicly he forgives her and filed his own wrongful death lawsuit against her health care providers, alleging she was prescribed nine medications in the months before the killings, including eight within a three-week span.

The trial is expected to last four to eight weeks and is being prosecuted by the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.
