Meghan Markle took to her Instagram on Thursday night to share some sweet family photographs from the family’s recent summer holiday, which was believed to have consisted of time spent in Portugal and the UK. As well as scenic photographs of where the family spent time, Meghan shared plenty of photographs of her husband Prince Harry, alongside their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
This included photographs of Archie, seven, watching a sunset, sat in a pilot’s seat and walking side-by-side with his dad. Photographs of Lilibet, five, shared by Meghan showed the young princess playing in a swimming pool, enjoying time at the beach and walking through the Althorp Estate gardens. The photographs of the two young royals have pleased royal fans, who have all said the same thing about how grown-up Harry and Meghan’s children now are.
One person wrote on X: “Wow Prince Archie and Prince Lilibeth are getting bigger, they’re both tall.”
Someone else commented: “They are going to be tall!”
Another person said: “Princess Lilibet and her handbags … She a mini-grown up.”
Someone else wrote: “So sweet… Lily with her bag! And Archie is so tall now.”
It is believed that the family of four spent some time this summer in both Portugal, where they reportedly have a holiday home, and the UK.
While Harry spent almost a week in his home country, Meghan, Archie and Lilibet only spent a few days in Britain as a result of security concerns, flying in for some private time after Harry’s public engagements were complete.
Although Harry was seen publicly, his wife and children were not spotted once, and made no public appearances at all.
It is believed the family of four spent time together at Highgrove, where they were hosted by King Charles and Queen Camilla, and then at Althorp House, where Harry’s uncle, Earl Charles Spencer, lives. This gave the family the opportunity to visit Princess Diana’s resting place, which is on an island on a lake at the Althorp Estate – her ancestral home.
It is believed the family then flew home to Montecito together.
