The Haunting Final Days of the Woman Allegedly K!:lled by Her Ex-Partner Inside a Logan Home
A Queensland woman who was allegedly murdered by her former partner overnight had spoken to police in the days before her death in relation to “domestic and family violence-related issues”.
Police have confirmed they had been contacted by the Woody Point woman, 27, regarding her former partner, a 37-year-old man who has been charged with her murder after her body was found in a home in Logan, south of Brisbane.

The woman was found unresponsive by emergency services in the bedroom of a home on Rowanda Street in Slacks Creek early on Wednesday.
Police said the man had made the call to Triple Zero, telling police the woman was unresponsive after an assault.
Despite attempts from emergency services to revive her, she was declared dead at the scene.
Detective Inspector Ian Galpin told media preliminary investigations suggested the woman died of asphyxiation and that police had initiated proceedings against the man in the preceding days.

“What I can tell you is that within the last 10 days, police did have contact with this woman in relation to domestic and family violence-related issues,” he said.
Galpin said he believed police had been thorough in their investigation and in offering the woman support.
Galpin could not confirm how long the pair had been together, or how long they had been separated for, and did not elaborate on what alleged violence took place during and after the relationship.
The man was arrested by police and has since been charged with one count of murder – domestic violence.
The man was refused bail and will appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Galpin said he did not believe anyone else was at the Slacks Creek home at the time of the alleged murder and clarified the pair had not lived together during their relationship.

A crime scene has been declared at the home and investigations are ongoing.
