A toddler has died in a horrific crash on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
The young boy was struck by a vehicle about 4.30pm on Monday on Scholars Drive in Sippy Downs, Queensland Police said.
Queensland Ambulance Services said he died at the scene after receiving in a life-threatening injuries.

Local councillor Christian Dickson shared his condolences and said it was a tragedy for the community.
“This is devastating for the family,’’ he said.
“As a father with a toddler, this hits home and makes you hold your loved ones tighter.
“Thinking of those involved in this difficult time.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
Investigations are ongoing.
