Jackie “O” Henderson has quit The Kyle and Jackie O show, with the breakfast show taken off-air, effective immediately.
The bombshell development follows Henderson storming off the show on February 20 during an on-air blow-up with her co-host Kyle Sandilands.
In a statement on Tuesday, ARN Media Limited — which owns the radio KIIS FM — confirmed Henderson had officially quit the show because she “cannot continue to work with Mr Sandilands”.
“Accordingly, ARN has terminated the services agreement with Henderson Media Pty Ltd, under which Ms Henderson presents the Kyle and Jackie O show,” the statement read.
“Ms Henderson will cease to present the Kyle and Jackie O show. ARN has also offered to Ms Henderson the possibility of an alternative show on the ARN network.”

ARN said they had also given written notice to Sandilands about his behaviour, stating it considered it “an act of serious misconduct … in breach of ARN’s services agreement with Quasar Media, under which Mr Sandilands presents the Kyle and Jackie O show”.
Sandilands has been given 14 days to remedy the breach.
“If it is not remedied, ARN will terminate the services agreement with Quasar Media, and in that event Mr Sandilands will cease to present the Kyle and Jackie O show,” the statement read.
“During the 14-day period, Mr Sandilands will not take part in the show.”
The company said the KIIS breakfast show would be taken off-air “effective immediately”, with interim arrangements made for the show.
The pair’s on-air spat erupted on February 20 after Henderson left the show in tears when Sandilands criticised her work ethic.
He accused her of being “unfocused” and being “off with the fairies”, taking umbrage at her interest in astrology and star charts.
Henderson became emotional after she said she was offended by her co-host’s comments.
“I would never say things like that about you,” she said to Sandilands.
“It’s a total attack, it really is … to say, ‘you don’t know what the F is going on, you’re not doing your job,’ that’s an attack and I wouldn’t do that.”
Sandilands responded: “It’s not an attack, it’s an actual fact, babe, I’m sorry.”

In 2023, the pair signed a 10-year contract worth $100m each, equating to about $47,000 per episode.
They both have a “no show, no pay” clause in their contracts, which means Henderson’s two-week absence cost her at least $470,000.
Some industry insiders said the latest development was a long-time coming.
Craig Bruce, a former program director at 2DayFM with the pair, told 10 NEWS+ they were “drifting apart”.
“It’s kind of understandable. They have been together now for close to 27 years,” he said.
“So they have spent half their lives in a small room together.”
Entertainment journalist Peter Ford said on Monday that it was likely their contract would be “ripped up and binned”.
On Tuesday, he told the Sunrise program that Henderson had “sought legal advice”, although she has not confirmed it.
“I’m hearing Jackie O feels she has to take a stand here and she has to do it to show that you do not have to be demeaned and belittled in your workplace, as she was on that particular day when Kyle gave her that dressing down,” he said.
“I think Jackie wants to take a stand to show her daughter, Kitty, that you don’t have to put up with it.”
