The family of former X Factor judge, Sharon Osbourne, is collectively marking the first birthday of the Black Sabbath legend, Ozzy Osbourne, without his physical presence.
Sharon Osbourne has been inundated with messages of support after she took to social media to pay a deep and heartfelt tribute to her late husband. The ‘Prince of Darkness’ passed away on July 22 at the age of 76, surrounded by his family. His cause of death was cited as a heart attack, with his long-running battle with Parkinson’s among the associated factors.
Today, on what would have been his 77th birthday, the music world and fans globally have once again spoken out to pay their respects.
Leading the charge, Sharon shared an Instagram video compilation highlighting her and Ozzy’s life in the spotlight, accompanied by a deeply moving statement. The clip poignantly featured the Black Sabbath Bridge in his hometown of Birmingham, adorned with floral tributes left after his death.
In the caption of her birthday post, Sharon wrote: “My darling husband, I celebrate the day you were born. I will never let go of your hand until I see you on the other side.”
Her emotional public declaration immediately triggered a powerful response, with countless fans flooding the comments section with messages of love and tearful emojis.
Kelly Osbourne’s Raw Grief: ‘I Cannot Sleep’

Sharon was not the only Osbourne to articulate the profound loss on what would have been Ozzy’s posthumous birthday. Their daughter, Kelly, used her own social media platform to candidly share her struggle with overwhelming grief.
“I have not slept. I miss him so much,” Kelly confessed on Instagram, posting a picture of herself on the Black Sabbath Bridge.
She went on to send a supportive message to her younger brother, Jack, who is currently competing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!. “I can’t lie, today is really hard without my brother,” she captioned a childhood photo of the two siblings. “I would give anything to just be able to talk to him! However, he needs to keep kicking butt in the jungle.”
Jack, despite his absence from the family milestone, has previously discussed his father’s death on the reality show, calling it “a shock” and “the ultimate mic drop.”
In a separate display of support, Kelly escalated the drama by publicly and fiercely criticizing former contestant Kelly Brook. Kelly Osbourne’s frustration boiled over after observing Ms. Brook’s conduct towards her younger brother in the camp.
Kelly Osbourne’s furious reaction included: “Is it just me, or is she really annoying? Kelly Brook… I don’t think I like you. Elbowing out of the way to get to the fish. You’re so performative, with all the gagging and the over-dramatics.” She added: “You bring out my big sister vibes, where I want to attack you because I feel like you’re a bit of a bully.”
This intense verbal attack referred to disputes between Ms. Brook and Jack over camp duties, adding a layer of tense reality TV drama to the family’s emotional anniversary.
