After the final MAFS Commitment Ceremony of the season, fans had one complaint: they’re fed up with being “rage-baited” by Gia and never seeing her take “accountability.” While Scott copped heat on the couch from the experts after opening up about being scared to express concerns about his relationship with Gia, fans questioned why she wasn’t challenged further.

Many said online that she was getting away “with pretty much everything” this season.

From fleeing Feedback Week to storming out of past Commitment Ceremonies when the pressure got too intense, fans have noticed Gia’s pattern of avoiding responsibility and, instead, owning her poor behaviour.

As the final task of the season approaches (which each contestant being rematched to another partner) maybe fans will finally get the redemption they need from Gia.

Gia’s ‘gaslighting’ has been ‘hard to watch’ for fans

Since the show finished filming, headlines about Gia’s new man have flooded social media.

Fans are well aware that Gia and Scott don’t work out.

So, fans haven’t been crossing their fingers for this couple’s final vows like they have for Stella and Fillip or Steve and Rachel.

Instead, they’ve been holding out hope that Gia’s behaviour would finally change.

But the latest Commitment Ceremony solidified disappointment.

After Scott revealed that he hasn’t been completely honest with Gia out of fear of her reaction, Gia responded with an almost tearful “I love you” and “I don’t feel secure” response to explain why she has lashed out in the past.

While expert Alessandra responded kindly to this vulnerability, MAFS fans had a different reaction.

“Gia gaslighting Scott saying she can’t speak about things is obvious to everyone that was a straight lie and just retaliating to take heat off herself,” one user said online. “Scott is so kind to her and pretty clear that he’s very open for discussion and not like that.”

“Really disappointed in the judges not calling her out on that.”

“It was hard to watch,” another fan noted. “He has obviously been pushed too far.”

After observations that it looked like Scott was “terrified” and about to have “a panic attack”, MAFS fans are calling out producers for allowing Gia to “get away with pretty much everything.”

“MAFS really rage-baited us this entire season by showing how awful Gia is,” one fan argued. “Knowing we want her to be properly called out and teasing at the possibility of it, only to let her get away with it week after week.”
