I’m A Celebrity… South Africa is set to descend into complete chaos in scenes airing tonight, after a Bushtucker Trial is dramatically suspended for the very first time in the show’s history following a furious showdown between Adam Thomas and Jimmy Bullard.
What begins as another brutal trial quickly spirals out of control when tensions explode between the two campmates, forcing hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly to step in as the challenge falls apart in front of everyone.

The latest Rancid Run trial sees the celebrities thrown into another gruesome test, with Jimmy choosing Adam as his partner for the task. But the partnership does not last long before things turn ugly.
As the challenge begins and the vuvuzela sounds, the rest of the campmates leap into action — but Jimmy stays rooted to the spot. Ant and Dec try to urge him on, but he refuses to budge, admitting: “Boys, I don’t think I’ve got it in me.”
After Adam successfully moves the first cog through the abacus, the entire trial is suddenly thrown into jeopardy when Jimmy says the dreaded words, “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here,” bringing everything to an abrupt halt.

The mood instantly turns sour. As confusion spreads through the group, Ashley Roberts asks: “So, what are we doing now?” Moments later, Ant and Dec inform the camp that the trial has been suspended and they must all leave the area.
But the real drama is only just beginning.
Adam, clearly furious over what he sees as Jimmy giving up, lashes out in a blazing rant that leaves the whole camp stunned. In a teaser clip, he can be heard screaming: “Are you fing taking the p?”
The actor later storms over to Jimmy, still seething, and repeats: “Are you taking the p***?” before unleashing his frustration and shouting: “I am in there getting covered in f***ing ants!”

Jimmy tries to calm him down, but the exchange only gets nastier. As Adam walks away in anger, Jimmy fires back with a cutting remark, branding his behaviour “pathetic”.
Ashley Roberts is left looking visibly shocked by the outburst, while Scarlett Moffatt and the rest of the campmates watch the explosive row unfold in disbelief.
The bitter argument is said to have had major consequences beyond the trial itself. The fallout reportedly leaves Adam and Jimmy’s friendship in tatters, with sources claiming the pair are still not speaking almost eight months after filming wrapped.
The row has also sparked further tension around the live final, with Jimmy reportedly threatening not to attend on Friday because of how deeply the clash affected him.
And that is not the only emotional blow Adam has faced in camp.
During the previous episode, he was left in tears after another heated confrontation, this time with boxer David Haye. Their repeated clashes had already upset viewers, with some accusing David of “bullying” Adam during the series.
At one point, Adam was even seen begging him to “have a day off” as the strain of camp life took its toll.
Despite the intensity of those scenes, Adam has since reassured fans that he and David have managed to make peace since filming ended. He has also urged supporters to “stop sending” David abuse over what happened on screen.
Still, tonight’s trial suspension promises to become one of the most dramatic moments the show has ever aired — not because of the creepy crawlies, but because tempers finally boiled over in spectacular fashion.
With emotions shattered, friendships fractured and campmates forced to choose sides, the fallout from Adam and Jimmy’s explosive clash could change everything in camp just days before the final.
