RAPPER D4vd has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a missing 14-year-old girl was found dead inside his Tesla.
The 21-year-old singer has been under investigation for months following the harrowing discovery of Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s dismembered remains in September.

D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, was escorted in handcuffs away from his home in the Hollywood Hills on Thursday by multiple armed officers.
Cops shouted “surrender” over a loudspeaker to get the rising rapper to emerge from inside, one neighbour told The California Post.
He is being held without bail in Los Angeles.
LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division Commanding Officer Captain Scot M. Williams said: “We came to the home with a probably cause arrest warrant for him,”

“We did the best we can to keep tabs on him, but once we developed probable cause to arrest him for murder, then we were on him pretty diligently.”
A Tesla registered to the Houston-born artist was found abandoned at a tow yard last year.
Police searched the car after workers complained of a foul smell coming from inside.
They found Celeste’s decomposed remains on September 8.
Investigators also found a cadaver bag containing a head and torso and a second bag had various other body parts inside, court documents show.
Celeste’s cause of death remains unknown with officials fearing she may have been dead for “several weeks”.
She had been missing since April 2024 – when she was just 13 years old – after her heartbroken family said she disappeared after going to watch a movie.
D4vd’s attorneys Blair Berk, Marilyn Bednarski and Regina Peter vowed to “vigorously defend” his client’s innocence.

August 5, 2025 – D4vd starts his Withered World Tour.
August 27: A traffic officer marks D4vd’s Tesla over an issue relating to its tires.
September 3: D4vd’s Tesla given a citation.
September 5– D4vd’s Tesla is towed to a Hollywood yard.
September 7 – Rivas turns 15 years old.
September 8 – The Los Angeles Police Department discovered a dismembered body wrapped in plastic in the trunk of D4vd’s impounded Tesla.
September 17 – The decomposing body is identified as Celeste Rivas.
September 18 – D4vd’s house is searched overnight and investigators take a computer and other evidence. D4vd continues his tour with a show in Seattle. Rivas’s family breaks their silence on their GoFundMe page.
September 19 – D4vd cancels the rest of his tour.
September 23 – Rivas’s body is released to her family. It’s revealed that D4vd and his manager have broken their lease and left the house that was raided in Hollywood.
October 6 – Rivas is buried in a private funeral ceremony in Rowland Heights, California.
April 16 – D4vd arrested on suspicion of murder.
They added: “Let us be clear – the actual evidence in this case will show that David Burke did not murder Celeste Rivas Hernandez and he was not the cause of her death.”
“There has been no indictment returned by any grand jury in this case and no criminal complaint filed.
“David has only been detained under suspicion.”
D4vd’s team say they have been fully cooperating with cops ever since a Grand Jury investigation was first launched.
Mystery has shrouded the disturbing case ever since Rivas was found dead.
D4vd suddenly cancelled his tour following the grim discovery, and hadn’t been seen in public prior to his arrest.
The rising rap star first rocketed to fame with songs like Romantic Homicide and Here With Me which have amassed billions of streams.
He gained a following by livestreaming himself playing video games, and then started releasing music that went viral on TikTok.
