With the New Year just around the corner, it can only mean one thing for Love Island fans – a brand new season of Love Island: All Stars is almost here.

The hit spin-off, which sees familiar faces from previous series return to the villa for another shot at love, was confirmed for a new season in summer 2025. Since then, rumours have been swirling about which former Islanders could be heading back for a second chance at romance (and yes, Millie and Liam are very much on fans’ radars).

As we count down to the return of one of TV’s most talked-about shows, here’s everything you need to know – including the start date.

When does Love Island: All Stars 2026 start?

CONFIRMED: Love Island: All Stars will start on Monday 12th January at 9pm.

ITV revealed: Even after so much Love Island drama, there’s still plenty of unfinished business. Love. Friendship. Bromance. Revenge? With All Star islanders returning to the villa, it’s time to tie up all these loose ends.

“So we’re asking the audience to crack who’s back. If you can connect the clues, you might be able to work out who’s got unfinished business. Maya’s ready to lead the charge. Let the guessing begin.”

ITV are keeping hush hush about the cast (as usual), but there’s been some whispers going around.

Both Millie Court and Liam Reardon who broke up earlier this year, are said to be heading back into the villa. Similarly, Andrada Pop and Emma Munroe who appeared on season 12 are rumoured to be in the line-up for season three.

On Boxing Day, Love Island shared a new teaser clip packed with hidden clues about who might be taking part in the upcoming series. The full trailer is expected to drop soon with even more hints, but fans think they may have already cracked one of them. In the video, there’s a shot of the iconic three hearts at the villa entrance, which one fan believes refers to the “Big Three” – Yasmin, Shakira and Toni. Since Shakira and Toni are currently in relationships, fans think this could mean Yasmin is set to return following her split from Jamie.

Will Maya Jama host Love Island: All Stars 2026?

Yes.

As always, Maya Jama will front the ITV2 dating series, turning up to the villa for recouplings and major moments on the show.

Maya made her hosting debut on the dating series in January 2023 taking over from Laura Whitmore. She’s since become a permanent fixture for subsequent seasons, including All Stars and the first season of Love Island: Games, although she stepped down ahead of the second series in September 2025, likely due to scheduling issues.

As well as Love Island, the 31-year-old is a panelist on The Masked Singer and she previously co-presented BBC One’sPeter Crouch: Save Our Summer alongside Peter Crouch and Alex Horne.

Where is Love Island: All Stars filmed?

Unlike the summer series, which is set in Mallorca, Love Island: All Stars is filmed in South Africa, where the weather is more favourable during this time.

How long is Love Island: All Stars on for?

All Stars runs for a slightly shorter period than Love Island which is on for two months. In the past, it has run for five weeks, which was a choice made by the producers who didn’t want people to get Love Island “fatigue”.

After two highly successful 2025 series, however, the show’s producers decided to extend it to six weeks.
