When it came to her dream wedding dress, bride-to-be Ashley had one brief in mind, “sexy”.
So when she found a gown that ticked all the boxes, why was she so nervous to face her protective father?
The dress looked like a “bad accident” stuck on a highway, according to the father-of-the-bride.
The model prepared to face her family in episode of Say Yes To The Dress US.
“I don’t think dad’s going to like it… because of the sheerness,” she admitted. “My father is brutally honest.”
The stunning $2,600 (AU$3,600) dress featured a a sheer corset adorned with pearl beads and diamante gems.
“I feel amazing, I love the corset definitely but dad might not agree,” worried Ashley.
He definitely disagreed.
“The top part here is like when you’re driving down the highway and you see a bad accident and you don’t really want to look at it…” he winced.
It was back to the drawing room was Ashley!
