A Well-Known Rapper Is Accused of K!:lling His Ex-Girlfriend… But the Phone Call He Made Moments Later Is What Has Left Everyone Stunned
A man accused of murdering his former partner at a Queensland home has been identified as Brisbane rapper Ronald Cora.
Cora, 37, is accused of murdering a woman at a home on Rowanda St in Slacks Creek, Logan, about 12.30am on Wednesday.
Emergency crews found the woman, Cora’s former partner, unresponsive in a back bedroom of the house after Cora allegedly called triple-0.
Paramedics and officers performed CPR on the woman and treated her for life threatening injuries, however, she was unable to be revived and was declared dead at the scene about 1am.
She has since been identified as a 27-year-old Woody Point woman.

Police body worn footage of the scene shows a man sitting at the front steps of the home before being arrested.
Cora has since been charged with domestic violence-related murder with police revealing they believe the woman had died of asphyxiation.
When asked by a 7NEWS journalist if police had done everything possible to keep this woman safe, Detective Inspector Ian Galpin replied that he was “satisfied” with police actions prior to the woman’s death.
“Having reviewed the investigation thus far, I am satisfied that police had taken the appropriate actions, and that support had been offered to this woman as well, and that other support services had been engaged,” he said.
Cora, who also goes by the stage name MC Triks, has been involved in Brisbane’s hip hop scene for a number of years and has thousands of followers on social media.
He has been refused police bail and is due to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Anyone who may have information that may assist in the investigation are urged to come forward.
