B0-dy Found in Suitcase During Children’s Teddy Bear Hunt Identified as 34-Year-Old Man

The victim whose body was discovered inside a suitcase at a Kent park has been identified as Dale Mundell, 34, from Islington, as police continue investigating the shocking case that unfolded during a family fundraising event.
Mr. Mundell’s body was found inside a large suitcase abandoned at Borstal Recreation Ground in Rochester after families attending a teddy bear hunt reportedly noticed an unusual case covered in flies.
The discovery prompted an immediate police response and the launch of a homicide investigation.
Suitcase Discovered During Children’s Event
Witnesses said families were taking part in a teddy bear hunt organized as a fundraiser for a local nursery when the suitcase attracted attention.
One attendee told local media she first heard the loud buzzing of flies before spotting the large suitcase, which she said was covered by hundreds of insects.
She quickly kept the children with her away from the scene while emergency services were called.

Investigators believe someone had been seriously harmed inside the home before the body was transported to Kent.
Police later arrested two men who were known to the victim.
