THE TRUTH WAS EVEN MORE HEARTBREAKING… – Newly revealed details in the alleged k!lling of Queensland mum Jana Armstrong have left many stunned after reports claimed her body was discovered beside a busy road, not concealed in bushland as first believed.
A photograph – too disturbing to publish – has revealed the distressing truth about how allegedly murdered mother Jana Armstrong’s body was found: not buried in the bushes, but dumped by the side of the road while hundreds of motorists unknowingly passed by.
The 30-year-old Toowoomba mum of a four-month-old boy was found dead in remote bushland north of the city on Saturday, July 11, after a frantic four-day search.
Ms Armstrong’s remains were found by pig hunters at the same time family, the SES and police were scouring the nearby area.
Police allege she was strangled by her former partner Dharminder Singh – the 48-year-old father of their son Deshal – and then dumped off the remote Esk-Hampton Road, about an hour north of the regional Queensland city.
Investigators and media swarmed the area the morning after – and vision taken by a television news helicopter unwittingly captured footage of Ms Armstrong’s body, face-down and sprawled in the bush, metres from a road.
The image, never broadcast, offers a starkly different perspective of what has been made public about the discovery of Ms Armstrong’s remains.
Previous reports described her body as being found by the pig hunters in dense bushland down a steep slope.
It conjured mental images of the body of a young woman in the prime of her life being discarded down a deep ravine, perhaps concealed by dense vegetation.

But the reality is even more chilling.
The aerial image, seen by the Daily Mail, shows she was not disposed of within the wilds and happened upon by chance.
In fact, her body was carelessly discarded barely metres from Esk-Hampton Road – apparently tossed down a slight embankment, her body clearly visible on top of bushland.
Ms Armstrong’s remains would have been passed by hundreds of motorists, completely unaware that the body of a woman whose disappearance quickly became national headlines lay just metres from the roadside.
Heartbreakingly, Ms Armstrong was still wearing the same green Country Road top she was last seen in on CCTV on Tuesday, July 7, when she and Deshal joined her sister and brother-in-law Faith and Michael Isaacs for brunch in Toowoomba.
Ms Armstrong’s 26-year-old sister Faith, now the guardian of baby Deshal, is still boiling with rage over how her beloved sister’s life ended.
‘It’s disgusting,’ she told the Daily Mail.
‘Her body was thrown off a bit of a cliff.’

She previously told this publication on Friday that the way in which Ms Armstrong was disposed of was the ‘act of a f***ing grub’.
Singh appeared briefly in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on July 13. He is yet to enter a plea, but his lawyer asserted his client’s innocence and indicated the charge of domestic violence murder would be fought.
Now, two weeks after she last saw her sister, Ms Isaacs is trying to pick up the pieces for her sister’s baby son.
She previously told the Daily Mail she is helping Deshal adjust to bottle feeding, and that when he hears Ms Isaacs speak, he turns his head – apparently looking for his mother, who sounded similar to her sister.
While helping the infant adjust to his new life, Ms Isaacs is also in the final stages of planning Ms Armstrong’s funeral.
She told the Daily Mail on Tuesday that Ms Armstrong’s farewell would be livestreamed, with the ceremony, burial and wake occurring in Millmerran, 82km south-west of Toowoomba.
The tiny village, population 1500, is the hometown of the sisters’ late parents, Robyn and Ron Armstrong, who died in 2019 and 2021 respectively.
Ms Armstrong will be laid to rest at the local cemetery alongside her mum and dad.

An abandoned white Hyundai Kona was the first sign something had gone very wrong
She was first reported missing in the early hours of Wednesday, July 8, when her white Hyundai Kona was found abandoned near her Newtown unit.
It was unlocked, and had a child’s car seat in the back.
Police at first feared for both mother and child, but found Deshal safe and well at Ms Armstrong’s home, reportedly with Singh.
Forensics scoured the Gordon Avenue home while a search team combed a nearby creekbed, and other locations throughout the city.
The remains being found so far out of town came as a shock to Ms Isaacs, who said she was grateful to the pig hunters who uncovered her sister in the unlikely location.
The group are said to be ‘traumatised’ by their horrific bushland discovery.
