One bride Queensland model Brook Crompton. reportedly ditched the show just days into filming.

According to Daily Mail, she sparked chaos among production when she booked a one-way flight back home on a whim.

Rumours had emerged that the reason behind her decision was because of a rekindled romance with an ex-boyfriend, however, she’s denied such claims as baseless.

So what was the catalyst that sparked her shock move? Surprisingly, it wasn’t her groom, Harry, who she was apparently getting on well with.

Instead, she was reportedly tired of the entire production as a whole.

“The pressure and the money she was losing just wasn’t worth it,” a source said. “She felt like she’d been promised one experience and got another.”

Shockingly, Brook allegedly didn’t tell Nine she was booking a flight and as a result, production who had spent months working hard on the new season were left scrambling.

“She didn’t ask. She didn’t negotiate,” the insider said. “She just booked the ticket and left.”

“Viewers are going to be shocked. She leaves a big impression, even though she walks away early,” added the source.

It may be surprising to find out it wasn’t groom Chris that drove Brook off the show considering his controversial remarks ahead of their ceremony , which included listing his “turn-offs” as “fake tan”, “needy” women and “fat people”, remarks that quickly cemented his reputation as the season’s walking red flag.

Speaking to Chattr after hearing about Chris’ fat-shaming remarks, Brook did not mince words. She said she was “appalled”, labelled his views “disgusting”, and made it clear she would never date someone who speaks about women that way. She also said he never should have been cast on the show.

“I don’t think it’s him being insecure. He’s a dangerous human,” she added.
