Strictly Come Dancing fans hoped a message has simply been lost in translation as Motsi Mabuse posted to Instagram.

Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left frantic over judge Motsi Mabuse’s latest Instagram post after the Christmas special of the BBC show aired yesterday (December 25). It saw Scarlett Moffatt lift the Glitterball trophy with her professional partner Vito Coppola – and hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman bid their final farewell to the programme.
Now Motsi’s latest post has sparked concern after she made references to “closing this chapter” and told fans “see you around”. Alongside a glitzy photoshoot showing her in sequinned gowns, Motsi penned: “And just like that, the final Christmas special has aired. What a beautiful way to close this chapter.
“So much joy, hard work, laughter and heart wrapped into one night. I’m grateful for every step, every person who made this season what it was.
“To everyone watching, supporting and dancing along with us, thank you. From my heart to yours, Merry Christmas. See you around.”
Worried fans flocked to Facebook to share their thoughts, with one fretting: “I hope this post from Motsi is just one of those ‘lost in translation’ moments!”
Someone else echoed: “Add this post to her post on the Saturday after the final about all the hate she received, I’m guessing it’s her way of saying she won’t be back. I hope she will be a judge next year as she adds a bit of fun to the show.”
It comes after Motsi said “goodbye” to London in an emotional post, writing: “Bye bye London. Too loud. Too emotional. Too much. Too little.
“One day too fat, the next too thin, token, box tick, it never fits. I’ve worn all your labels. Even the ones you don’t understand. A little love letter to you,” she said, addressing her haters.
“Thank you for reminding me how strong my support system is. You might not always see them but they are there. Quiet, constant, real. They give me strength, they keep me grounded, and they remind me to keep going.”
