Prince Harry could be one step closer towards bringing his children to the UK.

Prince Harry has repeatedly stated that without security, he is unable to bring his wife, Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to the UK. A security review is currently being conducted by the UK Home Office, which will finally address his concerns about his protection in the UK.
If the decision reached is finally what he hoped for, Harry’s visit with his two children is closer than ever. It comes after the Duke wrote privately to the Home Secretary, Shabana Mahmood, requesting a full security risk assessment, according to The Guardian.
As per the outlet, the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC) will ask its risk management board to reassess its threat level for the first time since 2020, with an outcome expected this month.
Last year, Prince Harry was in the UK for a two-day hearing for his appeal challenging the Government’s decision to remove his security. In May, he lost his appeal. The Court of Appeal ruled unanimously that a committee had not treated the Duke of Sussex unfairly when it decided to review his protection on a case-by-case basis each time he visits his home country.
Now, after nearly six long years, and since Harry left the UK, the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (Ravec) has finally instructed its Risk Management Board to reevaluate the threat against Harry.
As it stands, the Duke has to give the Met Police 30 days’ notice before travelling to Britain so they can assess his security needs on a case-by-case basis.
Former royal correspondent, Jennie Bond, told the Mirror: “If his security review goes in his favour, he will feel that an obstacle to visiting the UK more often – and possibly bringing his children here – has been removed. It has also been a spanner in the works in his relationship with his father.”

Prince Harry’s hacking claim against the publisher of the Daily Mail will also go to trial in early 2026.
Prince Harry is one of seven claimants, including Baroness Lawrence and Sir Elton John, suing Associated Newspapers over allegations of phone-hacking and other unlawful information gathering dating back 30 years.
Associated Newspapers Limited, publisher of the Daily Mail and The Mail on Sunday, filed Defences in all of the claims in 2024 strongly disputing the alleged wrongdoing.
