Young Sherlock
From the man behind Robert Downey Jr’s Sherlock Holmes, Guy Ritchie returns with another take on the legendary detective – this time exploring his origin story.
Hero Fiennes Tiffin plays the “youthfully defiant” sleuth, who embarks on his first investigation that changes the trajectory of his life “forever”. Alongside Hero, the stellar cast includes Dónal Finn, Zine Tseng, Joseph Fiennes, Natascha McElhone, Max Irons and Colin Firth.
Reflecting on the project, in which he worked with his real-life uncle Joseph Fiennes, Hero told HELLO!: “I’ve always wanted to work with Joe, and anyone in my family in the industry, but it would have to be for the right opportunity.
“Matthew Parkhill, our showrunner, said that he saw me shrink to a much younger version of myself, but Joe’s so supportive and such an incredible actor. He’s also very generous and giving, and I very quickly built up that confidence again and I loved working opposite him.”
Young Sherlock lands on Prime Video on Thursday 4 March.
